Russia's deputy foreign minister gave a statement that Russia would be willing to set up a corridor for commercial shipping to leave Odessa with Ukrainian grain, in exchange for lifting of western sanctions
Quote
“We have repeatedly stated on this point that a solution to the food problem requires a comprehensive approach, including the lifting of sanctions that have been imposed on Russian exports and financial transactions,” Rudenko was quoted as saying.

Dodge. I think you guys are still buying Russian gas huh. Sad

Germany has NO natural gaz and Russia delivered it for cheap. For years. Any country in this situation would have accepted at least some risks.
Now it's a rush to get rid of it, and cost ass. Thus it's pretty clear Germany messed up with Nuclear Plants because of the green vote.
They built alot of homes with natural gas heating instead of electricity, and probably the same tendancy happened in industry, when it was possible, sad.

But seems all this makes you happy, Dimitri. Sounds like a little victory ?
How about leeching some more Putin's boots Dimitri ? sluuurp sluuuuurp, hmm it's good no ?

You forgot to mention a multi billion dollar pipeline that isn't even going to be used after it was completed.

And you dodged again, I mentioned France is still one of the biggest Russia enablers out there, buying huge volumes of Russian gas. Keep it up scumbags

Trump spent his entire presidency trying to pressure the EU into weaning themselves off Russia and diversifying their energy imports, specifically citing geopolitical security. Now they're only trying to do it in a rush at the last minute, faced with unworkable limitations that give Russia the leverage it needs. Everyone knew what Nord Stream II represented and that Russia was building influence by exports. And yet the same people who are trying to be gung-ho on Russia now spent the last 6 years laughing it off when the strategy was called out. Trump correctly identified that global conflicts had to be fought with long term economic solutions, not acute military solutions, which he codified a few months after taking office as the Trump Doctrine. Now here are a bunch of morons trying those pitiful half-assed military interventions when Russia has them by the balls with economics. Reminds me of a certain politician who laughed at Mitt Romney and said the 1980s called and want the cold war back. And then armed Sunnis like ISIS to fight Assad and Russia

so here we are with economics again. And some strong echos of Syria. Not just arming Nazis to fight Russians. Even in the impending food shortage humanitarian that will hammer Africa hardest, in turn creating a wave of migration to the EU. And Russia has a stranglehold and all the western powers can do is debate what types of missiles to use lmao

wouldn't even surprise me if the EU leaders leap at this opportunity and use it as a win:win, arguing that they "have no choice" but to lift sanctions on Russian energy and guzzle away with a newly reapproved Nord Stream II in order to avert a world food shortage and humanitarian disaster. They might even take some photo ops with black people in africa smiling and holding loaves of bread made with ukrainian wheat. Russia's only offering to give them what they wanted all along

Pipeline will be used back soon enough, it is not a waste.
In France,17 % of the gas consumed comes from Russia, much less than the 36 % supplied by Norway. (2022)

I looked up the numbers. You're a nation of 68 million. You're importing large volumes of Russian gas and you're therefor one of the big Russia enablers lol.

Need more slam?

57 roubles/month for unlimited gas per person. That's what I call cheap.
