No. The fact is, NK people are complicit in what's happening. I have no sympathy for people who allow terrible things to happen to them and their country, even under the threat of death.
I don't even fully remember how everything happened as it did between North and South Korea to begin with, but as far as I'm concerned, they deserve their fate many times over. Call me cold, harsh, and whatever else you like. I don't care.
It's not called survival of the fittest for no good reason.
I feel the same of Germany back in the dawn of WWII. The German people allowed Hitler into power, along with the SS. Even under the threat of death by a select few at the start of things, they could have absolutely have overthrown the Nazi party/key figures and done away with them altogether. Many would have died, sure, but no where near as many after WWII was said and done.
It's not up to the world to save you from a dictator, etc. It's up to you, and your neighbors by any and all means.
Unfortunately, the NK people have let things get so bad that U.S. intervention is most likely inevitable at some point, and possibly soon at that, which is its own tragedy. We're looking at the death of thousands of Americans and South Koreans, and others because of the complete lack of action on behalf of the NK population. It has gone on for decades now. They have had plenty of time. And no, I'm not saying American lives are more important than other lives, so don't try and twist my words.
Germans "allowing" Hitler into power is much different from what is happening with NK. The people of NK are sheltered from the outside world as soon as they're born. They are only taught things the NK dictator wants them to know, such as stupid shit like Kim Jong UN is God, NK is best and strongest in the world, won 99999 gold medals in Olympics etc. how is it their fault that they don't know any better? Think about it logically.
If you don't remember what happened btwn n/s korea, u shd before you say something about them. What you said would make sense to most countries these days, but it doesn't for NK simply because they have no outside sources other than fabricated lies the government wants them to know. If you could sneak into NK, and secretly teach them about real world and convince how evil and stupid their leader is, and how everything they were taught from birth is a lie, then the NK people would have the reason to fight and overtake their dictator. Right now the ppl there doesn't know what we know. That is the problem. Just because you have easy access to google/internet/books/freedom etc. Doesn't mean you should assume NK ppl does too. Otherwise it would've happened long ago.
I mean most Japanese ppl don't know the history of their crimes because they completely removed that part from their history books. Yet they have access to the outside world like we do, so how can you expect North Koreans with no access to what we have, while being taught from their fabricated books know any better.
