You think it's not? Truth is way more simplier and ugly, not to mention signing a contract to continue training which is absurd in most cases. Let's say the guy is switching teams and going to train with CSKA and therefore manages to sign a contract and the coach is new. Relationships with his mother might be complicated and that's why he rather wants to talk with a wife once more. That's okay. Then his cellphone. Commanders were taking all the smartphones from the conscripts (unlike Chechen volunteers and Donbass militia), there was a video or two already. Still not a big deal if he has a jail pocket big enogh for 6.7". He's speaking about a contract while not being a single time on a shooting range (you have to serve as a conscript for free at least one year before you sign a contract. Fine. He, the boxer athlete, was unfit for army, navy and air force so he served our Motherland in Seabee with pride, honor and enormous shovel. But I have a question why there's no dialog between him and his wife (a lot more drama than that NKVD Cruella mom)? I have to explain almost every his move like a conspiracy theorist which I am not.
Mr Russian, you say conscript has to serve a year, while internet says otherwise:
https://www.foxnews.com/world/ukraine-invasion-russian-conscripts-military-contracts-familyMaybe its usually something like a year, but as the article says, when there was a need for more soldiers they skipped some steps.
I can Imagine that, in my company I get to be an expert now because other people are leaving, while training in this area is scheduled for june.
You ask why no dialog between his wife, probably because its less interesting, if the wife isn't interested in politics, doesnt watch that much tv but is interested in lets say children health, and her husband coming back home. Or maybe panicked as hell, remember we are talking about 20years old people, nearly teenagers. Of course Ukraine cannot free soldiers for free, as they would probably return to the Battlefield.
