You didn't answer my question.
John 1:1-5
"In the beginning was the
Word, and the
Word was with God, and
the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
Matthew 7:24-27
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
What are these two passages saying? The word was there in the beginning with God and the word was God. Through the word all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made. Then you get to hear the word which was with God in the beginning. What will you do when you hear the word being spoken to you? Will you put them into practice like the wise man or will you not put them into practice like a foolish man? You will hear the words but you have control over your response to hearing the word. Do you believe these words?
Every single word that is in the Bible is from the mouth of God. The word was with God in the beginning and the word was God. God created the Universe through his word. He said "Let there be light" and then there was light.
Then the word became flesh through Jesus Christ. The rest is history.
