you take the gifts. later, money is good to flee to Egypt and save your wife and son. Then you have many other sons, the brothers of Jesus. Cause you can support them all. Then Jesus goes to expensive school, where he studies the Bible. So when he goes to the temple at a young age, he knows the Bible damn good. Then he gets to be the Mesiah

You didn't answer my question.

John 1:1-5

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

Matthew 7:24-27

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

What are these two passages saying? The word was there in the beginning with God and the word was God. Through the word all things were made, without him nothing was made that has been made. Then you get to hear the word which was with God in the beginning. What will you do when you hear the word being spoken to you? Will you put them into practice like the wise man or will you not put them into practice like a foolish man? You will hear the words but you have control over your response to hearing the word. Do you believe these words?

Every single word that is in the Bible is from the mouth of God. The word was with God in the beginning and the word was God. God created the Universe through his word. He said "Let there be light" and then there was light.

Then the word became flesh through Jesus Christ. The rest is history.

He did answer the question. No words should be ignored.

A biology textbook teaches you about how the material world works. The bible teaches you about making choices to be happy. They dont have to be at odds. After a certain point hyperrationality just becomes compensation.

anyone using the bible for his/her own interests, impersonating the baby Jesus in the name of whatever political opinion or movement (essentially the right wing conservatives/pro life/pro "traditions" while letting mothers dying on the street etc...), should be... well ... punished....

Yeah this.

@Impose

I answered your question through scripture. This way if you decide to disagree then you didn't disagree with me, you chose to disagree with scripture. You chose to disagree with God and not with me.

If I straight up answer with no scripture then you will disagree with me and not with God. I answer with scripture because it says in Ephesians 6:17 "Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

The Bible is the word of God which means The Bible is the 'sword' that I use when I give an answer. If you have a problem with this then take it up with God and not with me.
