You are not allowed to put any pressure on the neck, unless it’s a use of deadly force situation.

I honestly think the cop who kneeled on his neck was just plain ignorant to his placing of his knee. To purposely kill someone while knowingly being filmed is just plain dumb.

Either way he gets what he deserves and I’m pro police

Yup. Proper positioning for a neck block restraint is on the shoulders, not the neck itself. Local news last night had an interview with a woman who teaches those types of techniques to law enforcement, and she was all "This is totally wrong".

Pretty sure he was fapping while feeling the life leave the guy he was murdering. Just my opinion though, no facts to back it up.

what's with MN and having these ridiculous killings by police cuz 'reasons'

killing that lady who called the police to report an assault going on
killing that law abiding gun owner that was reaching for his drivers license when asked (what??)
now killing this guy 4v1 by leg press to the neck for 2 hours

There was a big case about a k9 attacking a black women taking out her trash, think it was St. Paul cause she didn't die.

From what I'm finding, that isn't him. This may be, however:

According to additional news reports I've seen, this is not Chauvin, either.

Interesting tidbit: Derek Chauvin is being represented by the same attorney (Tom Kelly) who defended Jeronimo Yanez, who was the St Anthony MN police officer who shot and killed Philando Castile.

I just want to point out: http://prntscr.com/sp01gz

Give credit where it's due. There were 4 cops involved in this murder. And not all of them were white. :)

Responded to the scene based on reports of a forgery in process.

No weapons drawn, good. Excessive holds used to make an arrest for a non violent crime where the person is on camera saying they cant breath, bad bad bad.

the "lets wait for the facts" people are going to have a hard time even finding info that will justify this. much like Garner, which saw no real punishment even though a banned choke hold was used.

"dont commit crimes then" will be the snarky outcome after there are no charges, imo.

I think you underestimate ghot

The bodycam video would be the only account showing the obvious gap in here
The police said at the outset that he initially complied with officers, then resisted arrest. We've got one video showing him complying with officers and walking offscreen, then another video an indeterminate amount of time later with him on the ground and a cop saying they've been trying to get him in a vehicle for 10 minutes. Seems like a pretty long gap to make any assumptions about in the absence of evidence
