I have a uneasy relationship and at some point a distaste for extreme left.
My view on world issues are on the pragmatic side, what works and what doesn't and what is needed for the population of my country and what is in the interest of my neighbours and everyone else and how things can be negotiated, worked out and co exist that a certain amount of peace can be achieved.

Understanding my neighbour's culture and their red lines and what can be discussed and what cannot be discussed. That will ensure some kind of peace along the way.

that attitude is what responsible leaders should have.

I think i understand now
You introduce yourself eventually. No art of war = auto lose.

Just because these are on my bed still in doesn't mean I dont have it.
Sun Tzu Art of War is something that I read 25 years back when I was a teenager. If that is what the book you are referring to.

You should review your juvenile attempts at put-downs every now and then.

We don't see much of them very often sadly.

1. By "risking direct conflict" I don't see a clear affirmation of world war, not to mention it's half of a joke since we give Ukraine alot of weapons, money, heavy vehicles, intelligence. And still not WW3. Finally WW would involve several different countries on both sides, ATM it's only Russia vs everyone else.
2. Nato was the best excuse for doing war crime and mass destruction. Along with nazis
3. Once again you are doing a "butt both sides"
4. Usual HyperCriticism trick, no thanks.

Im off this "discussion" thanks.

ok i will try one last time. you dont have to reply positively, i dont mind:

1. if the US and Nato think its a bad idea to have nato troops in ukraine, they probably have a good reason.
2. your words are literally implying that russia is committing war crimes because nato made them/because nazi's made them. no war crimes are simply committed, in war. any party that tries to make excuses for war crimes, is at fault.
3. If is a fact that China is trying to buy itself into a better position, in africa and asia. it is a fact that America has been doing this as well for decades around the globe. Russia using bribes to prop up pro russian governments before and after the collapse of the USSR is also a fact. now there was another user in this thread that referred to this bothsidism / took affront when policies were compared. I am sorry you dont like it when ppl provide comparison. it is what it is, noting it is in fact, a comparison, albeit not an equal comparison. if i had to choose between the US and russia, i would choose the US.
4. you posted the picture of the poisoned politician. i agreed he was poisoned by pro russians. i asked if you could dig any further info.

again, i really dont see how the above is sending you away from discussing.

Let me introduce you to some books to read instead of reading off articles off the internet to understand the world better.
Here are some books that I read which I took a photo which is lying on my headboard.

That shelf is a pity along with your self inflated manners.
Worse being this third party quoting "It is quite difficult to speak or have discussion with people who base their arguments and debates on Dogmatic principles."
Which one of the most unpolite thing you can do on a forum. Giving an idea of the real values hidding behind this truely civilized gentleman.

no time today! but that guy looks familiar, whats his name ?

also when employing / living the values, where there is a contentions debate with a side, where both sides refuse to budge from their positions, the best thing to do is to give it time for things to cool down. (yes i am referring to the argument in the last 1-2 pages). can always revisit on a later date.

im not sure, but i think i read alot of stuff (not good!) about him if he is who i think he is! will look at it later if i get the chance.

I liked this though: Varoufakis attended an event in London hosted by The Guardian on 23 October 2015, where he spoke about the UK's upcoming European Union membership referendum. He said that the UK should remain in the EU, but also campaign to democratise it: "My message is simple yet rich: those of us who disdain the democratic deficit in Brussels, those of us who detest the authoritarianism of a technocracy which is incompetent and contemptuous of democracy, those of us who are most critical of Europe have a moral duty to stay in Europe, fight for it, and democratise it."

that applies to disgreements in general. you dont walk away from the table. a leader stays at the table.
