That's incorrect. Scientific discoveries like relativity, quantum mechanics, newtonian mechanics, germ theory, etc. happened because of well known discrepencies in our current theories and were the result of years of active searching.

We are definitely not done discovering, but we are unlikely to make a world-shattering discovery like relativity or quantum mechanics again any time soon.

in a maximum of 10 centuries there will be as you call it world-shattering discoveries that we can't even conceptualize today. the WTF and FCC are two examples of projects that could discover them or lead to the discovery of them

not to get religious here but I have read several books all sorts of stuff and I know some plagues came of the years and people believe its wrath from god or diablo created it in my own experience things are the way it is and we need to live with it, in our modern times we want eternal life being healthy at all cost but the human body is not designed this way. It does not matter if you die by vaccines or by the disease itself, what does matter is to be a good human being towards each other during difficult times.

Mate I don't want to upset you with my opinion but there is a huge law about releasing and testing medicine before it is applied to humans and it is being used by the FDA and EMA and others to make sure things are safe. The Drug law came into practice when early on stuff damaged human beings so they make sure that this does not happen again so easily.
Rest assured that there is no bigger issue and there is no big plan to wipe out mankind with some sort of vaccine. If it was not safe it would not go past the animal trials or clinical trials. Don't be too afraid, being careful is good ofc.

Of course there are heavy side effects without a doubt. Some people overreact and if not helped might suffer death, but that goes for any kind of medicine. Remember that if you give medicine to billions of people the statistics will drop you some who won't make it through the process. It is sad and I hate how it is, but we cannot change the fact that the pandemic is growing and changing becoming more dangerous due to its mutations.
