uh....

apparently George Floyd was also a male porn star, and people have found his videos online under the name "Big Floyd"
and its definitely him

Well good, now that it's a dead celebrity we might see real justice.
R.i.p big ball floyd.

Negligently failing to render aid doesn't constitute murder 3

Did we watch the same video? The only aid the guy needed was for someone to lift the cops knee off of him. Render aid has nothing to do with the charge.

Unless the cop's knee had nothing to do with him dying.
We don't know whether it did, and neither does Mike Freeman
We can say it 'probably' did, but since when was 'probably' the bar for a murder conviction?

I can say Mike Freeman 'probably' knowingly violated the ethical standards of his post in order to appease a violent mob.

The cop on his back probably needed to come off too.
Standing on someone's neck screaming at them to get in a car seems like a poor way to get them in a car unless you mean a hearse.

you should have bolded the "causes the death of another"
Failing to render aid does not make it murder, causing the death does. You can get criminally negligent homicide from failing to render aid when you have a responsibility to do so for someone in your custody, but that is manslaughter, not murder.

They need to establish beyond a reasonable doubt that he caused the death, which is precisely what's missing from this criminal complaint without a medical examiner's report.

Oh, darn. I put a <B> tag in the wrong place. Silly me. Keeping your knee on someone's neck for 10 minutes falls under the category of "perpetrating an act eminently dangerous to others". And considering you had people screaming to help him, Floyd himself saying he couldn't breathe, and another officer playing guard dog for him, it's not a stretch to argue that there was a disregard for human life, especially after Floyd became unresponsive and calls to "check his pulse" were clearly made.

thats their play though - they scream unintelligible directions in an effort to confuse and create struggle so they have justification to use force.

Excuse me while I laugh my ass off at this bullshit attempt to muddy the waters.

I think he was dead for well over a minute before they even checked if he was ok.
