The world was created in 6 days... the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken... If you know anything about the rotation of stars and planets you'd know that it can literally not "fall off". This is not breaking news. At least be genuine and say something like:

"The scientific method applies ONLY to the physical universe that we can observe with our senses. Scripture tells us that there is a reality beyond this universe. This reality has not been observed by science but that does not mean it is any less real. It takes faith to interact with it."

I agree but banning weapons won't stop the criminals from obtaining them. That just leaves the good people more vulnerable. The second amendment was created for US citizens to protect themselves from enemies foreign and domestic. Government overreach s well.
