There are legitimate concerns about a vaccine being developed quickly.

But the Pfizer vaccine is rock solid. Moderna I know less about but its probably fine. My institution is using Pfizer and I'm on a research team so we've had all the data presented to us because they know we have the background for it.

You're claiming shit that's not true in an attempt to claim something's safe and people should use it. You are encouraging people to do something that may not be good. You don't know anything, because NOBODY knows anything.

This is a new vaccine TYPE. It's not merely the latest "strain" of flu shot. It's not tested, it's not trialed. It's a new drug. The average on a completely new drug type is 10 years trials. On a tested but modified drug type, it's 6 years. On something like a flu vaccine where it's the same exact vaccine as every other year? It's still 6 months. Hence why they release 8 different types globally, as they have no idea what strain mutation they're dealing with. This isn't that.

It's a new drug, utilizing a new method, that's NEVER gone through a full trial, and NEVER been cleared for market, under ANY scenario.

STOP being what you claimed for 4 years Trump was. Tell the truth or shut the fuck up.

It's an existing method, which has gone through clinical trial, being modified to be used as a vaccine, that went through a trial that had 4x the recruitment of a usual vaccine trial, that was able to skip the usual multi-year recruitment period for each step due to public interest.

You're stuck in your 14 year old mindset where everything you assume is automatically true even though you know virtually nothing about the topic. Meanwhile you're staring somebody in the face who actively works on clinical trials and disregarding everything he says.

Be honest first and explain what a EUA is to the average user. Prior to "living off your laurels" stop arguing with the FDA. This is an organization full of letters. How many letters are after your name? Is MD two of those letters?

I am definitely not an authority, I'm just somebody with experience, but everything I'm telling you came directly from my institution's infectious disease specialist who hosted the forums on the vaccination efficacy and rollout.

You point to a new type of vaccine that's first entered "trials" a year and a half ago and failed spectacularly. They went back to the drawing board. It was looking semi-positive back in March. When Covid became the driver, and they went into fast track trials back in September for this, they limited it to efficacy. And the result appeared to be fine.

Now, results don't appear great, it's absolutely NOT approved for even emergency use on children, and it is NOT market cleared or FDA approved, and has only given an Emergency Use Authorization specifically due to pandemic conditions. You can't answer to anything, because you have no facts. You're a literal administrator for a lab that exists to torture animals. WHY would you even think to present yourself as an authority for a drug that did NOT undergo proper trial testing and not be called out?

There is no such thing as a trial that is "limited to efficacy". You will always track side effects, and I know they did this because I was personally shown the data and we have had discussions on this exact forum about suspected side effects.

You say it's not approved, then say it has an emergency use authorization. Do you know what "approval" means?

The data on efficacy is absolutely conclusive in the case of the Pfizer vaccine.

You don't know Thor by now. Took me a few back and forth to get an idea on his character. Met people like him in life . Had a friend like that too.
