our country has been "neutral" for a while but our current leader turned around a few weeks ago and said that perhaps we should no longer be neutral. i think 70% wanted to be neutral.

We have a gas terminal, and a Baltic pipe, and a gas connection with Lithuania that has a large gas terminal that they dont fully use. And a lot of coal, as well as some renewables.



After the years in soviet occupation, its much better now for Poland.
Back then people were getting just about 20usd monthly salary (100usd today because of inflation).
People had printed money, but the shops were empty.
When you wanted to buy shoes, you had to wait for hours in queue for hours. Then when it was your turn, very often it was not your size of shoe. But you were buying it anyway, and had to find another guy to switch shoes to proper size.
Every citizen could only buy little meat, little oil etc - everything was limited.

Some years ago Mr Ławrow said that its fine for Ukraine to join NATO, so I dont believe in such a Red line now, that's just an excuse.
Russia shouldnt ask anything of Ukraine, they have nukes to defend themselves.
And they have showed a lot of bad things in the past, not to be trusted. They guaranteed Ukraine independence after all.

2. About the bible in tv, which channel it was?
In Poland there are multiple channels, some to be watched by conservatives, others that usually watch liberals.
Well, that's an uneasy situation about gays in bible. First of all we have religion freedom in every civilized country in the west.
And the bible clearly says that gay sex is a sin.
How can it possibly work together these two things?
So what can the church, the priests do, given that?
Imo the pope should make an announcent, that the bible was wrong.
I go to church only on weddings and funerals, but I kind of understand some people are believers.
I see old people in churches, probably they get scared they die soon and need to make up for their life full of sins
Of course its perfectly fine to be gay in Poland, as its perfectly fine to be a nonbeliever, like I am a non believer.
At least one of my friends is gay. He is doing fine, but probably didnt make a public "coming out".

Russia is not expansionist though. also finland as you might be aware, is also not in nato. i dont see russia invading finland either and they would be the obvious choice between ireland and finland for russia from a historical and geographical standpoint, if russia was expansionist.

russia to my mind is dumb with such video's and they are completely outclassed by america in the media and political wars. the US has manipulated the situation and stirred the world into a frenzy, to the point that there is only one narrative. you have to admire them for this ability, it shows that you can attack a country in so many ways.

Isn't expansionist? Attacking eastern and central Europe since 18th century isn't expansionist?
Finland will be in NATO in a couple of months.
Finland has already fought the war with Russia in winter 1939, they are now always battle ready:
-280k soldiers in event of war, 900k people with military training who can also join the army,
-every large building has its own bomb shelter,
-food and medicines for 6-12months.
Etc
And these guys sure have courage to defend, lately they put the tractors on the Russia border to laugh about Russians.
So Finland is not really that much of obvious target.
