Do you have a real opinion on his dossier? Why do you think Russian sources were telling a seasoned MI6 agent these things? What motivation did they have?

If I was a Trump cultist, I'd probably argue it was some legit intelligence that became SVR scuttlebutt, and Steele's sources got some things right, but many things wrong. The common arguments against the dossier are not legitimate.

Laugh their asses off over what? The Russian sources gave this information during the campaign, the information could've potentially been released by the media and hurt Trump's campaign. Putin had an interest in damaging Hillary and swaying the election towards Trump.

Steele makes his living as a reliable intel agent... giving the company he works for a bunch of nonsense isn't in his interest. You can't just deny a dossier of intelligence because some parts are wrong... that's not how it works. It's clear that the Russian sources were giving some accurate information.

I want the point of whether the sources were paid resolved. Old statement from former cia director michael morell says he learned that steele paid intermediaries who in turn paid the sources. New reports today from glenn simpsons sworn testimony to congress says he stated steele did not pay his sources, but it was closed door and we only hear it from leaks. So something has to give, either morell was mistaken or simpson was misreported or someone lied

Yeah, some accurate information about Hillary. Steele is just an afterthought by the DNC to have everyone look elsewhere.

If you leave you're political feelings out of this, and just look at it as some kind of D2 scammer accusation, it's a lot more apparent.
