Nope, not really.
War goes on, heavy losses on both sides.
There were some civilians evacuated from Mariupol.

In one week, 9may, there will be a big National military holiday in Russia, there are various speculations if anything takes place on that day or just before it.

My friend first of all I dont see China on the same continent as USA and mexico. And in Europe NATO and Russia are neighbours.
Second of all, you have no idea what terrible things have Russia done in the past to people of East Europe.
And they are now worse than ever, so this time even worse thing will happen if they conquer it.
This is why there is such a strong resistance to Russia here, and willingness to stay in the western world, that we are part of for more than 30 years already.
Not to mention, that they dont really have to stop in eastern Europe, why not attack also Germany and France and other countries?
France has nukes, but will the peaceful French people have the courage to launch them on Russia and start the nuclear defensive war? I have some doubts about it. I think the French people would rather accept the Russian occupation, similar as they did with nazi occupation during ww2.
Especially when a president is some kind of Russia friend like ms Le Pen.

Many in charge, or from old influent and wealthy families, will also claim it's not compatible or "doesn't work" because they know they will lose a large part of their power if democracy is implemented.
/e and they will do everything to not let it naturally grow: typically press, information, political freedom. Tensions start here.
