This story is real, it sucks but the truth can suck sometimes.

E: also, the 5 nurses and the 1 respiratory therapist are proning him. It’s a technique we use when your lungs derecruit even after high PEEP therapy. It’s basically a last ditch effort when your po2/fio2 ratio is critically low.
