Russia already admitted that this was a land grab. Not sure what your point is.
Your wife is probably a very nice lady.

My position in the scenario is I’m the husband. Someone insulting my wife would also be insulting to me. Try and keep up. Should I refer to you as they? I mean, seeing as you’re a subwoofer

Lesson of the history for you guys, which partially explains why Ukraine doesnt want to capitulate to Putin now:

The Holodomor (derived from moryty holodom, 'to kill by starvation'), also known as the Terror-Famine or the Great Famine, was a famine in Soviet Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 that killed several millions of Ukrainians.

Since 2006, the Holodomor has been recognized by Ukraine alongside 15 other countries as a genocide against the Ukrainian people carried out by the Soviet (Russian) government.
The Soviet Union long denied that the famine had taken place.

Its not possible to give the exact number of casualtes because some historians question the accuracy of Soviet censuses, as they may reflect Soviet propaganda.
