Zelensky asked for tanks, anti-tanks,or Jets / offensive drones because Russia changed tactics and is now rolling with tanks in large rural areas; it's easier for them to take small cities, village. Easier to loot too probably.
He said that Ukrainians have not much to rivalize against tanks. Not sure if they used all their anti-tank weapons or if they also need more safe mobility in the areas.

All in all, war isn’t good. It isn’t the answer to anything. On the grand stand of things (just on from my point of view) i hate how it has effected Russian people all over the world. I even dislike more how it effected my Slavic brothers towards me. For what? So one country could put nukes near another country and show “superiority”? That’s a joke! This whole worlds economy is integrated and if any leaders were worth a damn, they’d admit it and look for resolution.
