It was part of Russia until I think start or end of ww1? then it declared independance and for nearly 100 years it was part of a mountain people federation (or something along those lines lol)? It was with Dagestan and one other mountainous republic. then Russ decided that it was going to bring back the mountain republics whether they wanted to or not.
Im not sure if youre asking me or being sarcastic but I try to hope for the best and gave you what I know.

Ya, you're right, but I dont think that gives Russ the right to forcefully take back those republics though, does it? I don't know to much specifics outside of Putin and, then his boss at the time, Yeltsins role during that period. I know that russ turned grozny into dust

Are you russ? Im curious your stance on this, im not sure if youre a russ and maybe weve had differing information or maybe the books I read I didnt quite grasp what was said. Wasnt Chechnya a recognized, independent state for nearly 100 years, what changed? from what I understood the kgb or fsb did a number of false flags to get the population behind the wars. Similar tactics to what were seeing now in ukraine. So I think its safe to assume you also support Putin invasion of Ukraine?
