I don't get why Republicans are always talking about Rules for Radicals as if they have ever read it. It's not some guide on smashing democracy and installing an autocrat. It's about wearing a suit and speaking politely.

"Exclusive: Carter Page testifies he told Sessions about Russia trip"

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/02/politics/carter-page-testimony-russia-trip/index.html

Former Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page privately testified Thursday that he mentioned to Jeff Sessions he was traveling to Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign — as new questions emerge about the attorney general's comments to Congress about Russia and the Trump campaign.

===>

"Let me state this clearly: I have never met with or had any conversations with Russians or any foreign officials concerning any ... interference with any campaign or election.
Further, I have no knowledge of any such conversations by anyone connected to the Trump campaign. I was your colleague in this body for 20 years, and the suggestion that I participated in any collusion or that I was aware of any collusion with the Russian government to hurt this country, which I have served with honor over 35 years, or to undermine the integrity of our democratic process, is an appalling and detestable lie.
Please colleagues, hear me on this I recused myself from any investigation into... I did not recuse myself from defending my honor against scurrilous and false allegations."
-Jeff Sessions June, 2017

Also I'd like to point out, there is a proven cash flow of:
DNC/Hillary/Obama -> Perkins Coie -> Fusion GPS -> Christopher Steele -> Russian Intermediaries -> Active Kremlin Officials

seems like that chain was figured out very gradually over the last year as every revelation adds up, but we know that Perkins Coie was retained for oppo by the DNC, with HFA and OFA both chipping in millions, while failing to disclose this research as campaign finance and instead falsely reporting it as legal services, then Perkins Coie subcontracted Fusion GPS to do the dirty work, they hired Steele to assemble the dossier only after the republican donor stopped funding it, then Steele paid his intermediaries who in turn bribed Russian officials, who probably fed him complete bullshit since they were getting paid to do so, they could have invented stories about Putin and Trump going scuba diving on the moon as long as the DNC has a fat wallet

cool, news:

"
An indictment of Flynn could seal Mueller's obstruction-of-justice case against Trump

An NBC News report on Sunday said the special counsel Robert Mueller had enough evidence to indict the former national security adviser Michael Flynn in the investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 US election.

An indictment of Flynn could bear some consequences for President Donald Trump, whose firing of the FBI director James Comey in May has reportedly prompted an investigation into whether Trump attempted to obstruct justice.

The report indicates Flynn is most likely angling for a presidential pardon before an indictment, legal experts say.
"

Not sure of the implications.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's long-time confidant Keith Schiller privately testified that he rejected a Russian offer to send five women to then private-citizen Trump's hotel room during their 2013 trip to Moscow for the Miss Universe pageant, according to multiple sources from both political parties with direct knowledge of the testimony.

Schiller, Trump's former bodyguard and personal aide, testified that he took the offer as a joke, two of the sources said. On their way up to Trump's hotel room that night, Schiller told the billionaire businessman about the offer and Trump laughed it off, Schiller told the House intelligence committee earlier this week.

After several minutes outside of Trump's door, which was Schiller's practice as Trump's security chief, he said he left.
