meanwhile in germany politicians and so called scientists claimed just days ago that a "freedom day" like in some neighbor countries wouldnt be possible, because the vax rate is not high enough

turns out the idiots from the RKI messed up the data once again and our vaccination rate is 80% and 85% have at least received one jab, which holds up against the countries that lifted all restrictions recently

but i guess thats "science"

Science is increasingly weaponized as an ostensibly untouchable argument by the political left whenever its demands align with their agenda, but ignored when it doesnt.
Tell the Fridays for Future activists or Green party voters that strong voices in the scientific community are considering nuclear power an indispensable bridge technology during decarbonization and you'll hear crickets, interrupted only by the occasional popping of brain aneurisms. ^_^

yep, whenever these guys need an argument they find some minion with a degree who will support the narrative and disregard everything against it

the brainwashing when it comes to nuclear power here is so bad.....you are still hearing the obsolete "what about nuclear waste" argument like we are still in the 70s

but its alright, many will come around when the inevitable mass blackout happens

So first off, science doesn't demand anything. Science gives you the answers to your questions, but what you do depends on your values.

Many people see nuclear as an overly risky option and thus unsuitable as a bridge technology. I very much disagree with this, and think some education for those people would be good, but they aren't ignoring science just because they come to a different policy conclusion.
