Open borders is implicit in the inaction or refusal to enforce penalties.

Honestly this is really simple. Tougher punishment for X usually leads to less of X happening. Having no punishment for X and expecting X to magically stop or desist is pie in the sky.

You don't want a wall, you don't want people detained that break the law by crossing illegally, so what is your grand plan to fix the borders?

not his problem so he isn’t worried

by his own admission he is “loaded” (despite being a commie) so he can just move away from or pay to have any illegal immigrants not bother him

That works to a little extent but that's a naive world outlook. There's 7 billion people in this world. A country of 350 million is not going to fix the issues of humanity. A country of 350 million can't even fix it's own issues and can do some things for some of those Central American countries, but at the end of the day the issues there are much harder to fix than just throwing money at them.

There's violence there because there's lack of economic opportunity. There's lack of economic opportunity because they lack human capital, they lack the know how to compete in a global economy, because there's corruption, because there's failed economic policies, and on and on. The American taxpayer is not responsible for those countries considering so many people in the US have nothing saved, lived paycheck to paycheck, can't afford healthcare, etc.

So while i feel their pain and probably know better than one here how it is to live in a poverty stricken country, it's not our responsibility. If some of those people want to come here, let them do so legally, the proper way, like some of us that had to wait in line, like some of us that had to pay for things like processing costs.

It's not to suggest that it is an easy fix or primarily the sole responsibility of the United States. Rather, it's commentary on the fact that independent of whatever border security measures we take, people aren't going to stop attempting to gain entry into the US unless the fundamental conditions of their home country change.

We're trying to build a dam against a flow of water, but that doesn't stop the flow.

Wall Street Democratic donors warn the party: We'll sit out, or back Trump, if you nominate Elizabeth Warren

Democratic donors on Wall Street and in big business are preparing to sit out the presidential campaign fundraising cycle — or even back President Donald Trump — if Sen. Elizabeth Warren wins the party's nomination.

You're in a box because you're a Democrat and you're thinking, 'I want to help the party, but she's going to hurt me, so I'm going to help President Trump,'" said a senior private equity executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity in fear of retribution by party leaders.

Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee have raised over $100 million in the second quarter. A large portion of that haul came from wealthy donors who gave to their joint fundraising committee, Trump Victory. In August, the RNC raised just over $23 million and has $53 million on hand.

The Democratic National Committee have struggled to keep up. The DNC finished August bringing in $7.9 million and has $7.2 million in debt.

Only a retarded person would conflate those two statements, nice confession. You are literally conflating the past with the future.

As long as you are ok being a running joke.

serves you right bully. using the R word should draw instant suspensions. as should calling someone a "sperg" or implying they have Asperger's.

one of my few true gripes is using that word, and it's only started recently. i used to use it as flippantly as just about anyone.

it's one of the few things that makes me believe in the concept of 'punching down' being not ok.
