I watch this on a Taiwanese Political Talk show.
They said Austin and Biden are not being passive anymore and they are no longer hiding what they want.
They are finally being honest with their agenda all along.
And yes, they want to use this opportunity to put Russia's Conventional military capability back to the 19th century.

I think it's a very fluid situation. I imagine that the lack of discipline from the Russian soldiers AND the fact that Russia has shown that it doesn't have great offensive capability to begin with relative to expectations helped trigger this decision. Ultimately though, we really should live in a world where wanton aggression towards other nations have EXTREME consequences. America is still suffering politically due to the Iraq War and that began almost 20 years ago.

the UK is irrelevant at the moment. but yes re: USA being the decider.
I am not being offensive to the UK, im merely pointing out that their voice in the EU/Nato is irrelevant right now.

Really? I disagree with that. They've been on the more aggressive side of things. Ultimately though, you're only as strong as your weakest link which is obviously the Germans.

Just be honest, you would cheer if NATO nuked Russia and genocided millions of Russians.

You won't be too happy when the nuclear counterstrike comes for Paris tho.

I think Russia and France still have a close relationship even though at this point at least on the surface it doesn't seem they have.

If a nuke war happen, it will be aimed at Britain / USA / Poland / Canada etc
But that is just my personal opinion.

No you are not offensive at all.
As a matter of fact , Boris Johnson is now talking a lot of smack since he is stepping down soon.

Boris Johnson will never step down. he will be forced down.

The germans are sending tanks. how is that a weak link ?
Yes england is more aggressive, but that does not equate to them being leaders in europe, that can dictate events, unlike USA, who can.

.

And Afghanistan as well. But just a curious thought, suffering politically domestically or globally. I can understand the domestic part, but global wise, they are quite untouchable at least for the moment.

I think maybe he meant that UK and USA is sending offensive and not defensive weapons.
Aren't Germans sending only Gerpard Anti Air tanks?

I might be wrong but perhaps someone else know a little more.

1. The German government on Tuesday confirmed reports that it will approve a delivery of "Gepard" anti-aircraft tanks to Ukraine. German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht announced the move during opening remarks at the Ramstein air base in Germany, coming at the start of a US-hosted defense conference on Ukraine.

2. The decision to provide the “Gepard” tanks, which come from German defense industry stocks, was made at a closed-door government meeting on Monday, Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht told reporters at a Ukraine security conference at a U.S. airbase in Ramstein, Germany. There was no immediate information on how many tanks Germany would deliver.

The announcement marks a notable shift for Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who as recently as last week was still ruling out sending German tanks to Ukraine, insisting it would make more sense for Eastern NATO countries to give Kyiv old Soviet-era tanks already familiar to the Ukrainian military. Scholz promised Germany would then send those countries replacement German tanks.

3. Defence minister tells meeting of military leaders that government has agreed to sign off delivery

it is, but so are alot of other countries. its all pointless until the powers that be actually decide to dial it back - which they have shown no intent to do. China offered to hold talks very early on but of course no one paid attention to that (they are tomorrow's enemy after all).

I honestly see escalation before putin being ousted. I dont even know what you mean by the expression "Russia liberated". If Russia starts properly carpet bombing or WORSE, I can imagine the howls at the inhumanity, NO i do not condone the actions, but YES i understand that they were chased into a corner which led to said actions.

In times like this you want America to dial it back, instead we are seeing them ramping tensions up.

Ukraine war will end with Puint ousted or killed by the Russians. Sanctions are very important since it can provoke tension from the inside.
Making corruption schemes based on foreign money useless, pressuring Oligarches like no tomorrow, pusing russians on the street
I'm not economist expert but seems Russia faces first foreign default since 1918 soon enough, despite selling oil/gas.

Diplomacy 101: always have an available communication channel
Nuke would be detonated in a low populated area in Ukraine IMO
