Now we have the Democratic front runner openly running on open borders.

That still isn't what the policy amounts to. It does not say open the borders, it says fix the borders and not punish non-criminals incarcerated unnecessarily.

Anybody guilty of a crime against person or property obvious will not be released or should be persecuted as normally.

I don't know why you think using county jails as ICE detention facilities is morally okay. You are really terrible humans.

Open borders is implicit in the inaction or refusal to enforce penalties.

Honestly this is really simple. Tougher punishment for X usually leads to less of X happening. Having no punishment for X and expecting X to magically stop or desist is pie in the sky.

You don't want a wall, you don't want people detained that break the law by crossing illegally, so what is your grand plan to fix the borders?
