Give those two pigs to the mobs imo.
Couldn’t care less if they put em on a rack and stretch it out for a week medivial style on a live feed.
They 100% deserve it.

She didn't actually say what you are saying she said in her post. I see nothing wrong with the post. People shouldnt just shut up go home and be good boot lickers.

My wife just told me the media is ripping him a new one. Is this true?

every question is probing and/or hostile, definitely questioning his response or lack thereof, and rightly so.

he keeps talking about how directing the troops is up to the local officials, state patrol leadership, mayor frey, cops, etc.
He said "the missions never came" about 10 times.
Journalist just asked him, if the requests aren't coming, why not be proactive? He responded "the lesson is learned", and then immediately fell back on saying "we fall back on our partners in this" and talking about how big events like the superbowl and RNC had 18 months of planning but he only had a night to prepare. "I have to operate in real space in real time". "The state patrol was tasked in this"

I would totally support the idea of another department, such as the FBI, getting involved as a way to circumvent the red tape and get Chauvin in custody to quell the riots.

MN would not like it one bit and it would cause one hell of a legal battle. But this situation is so extreme that it warrants it (imo).

However important or unimportant you think it is, all it takes is one minor trip-up to cause a mistrial.

The FBI is involved, as are the State police. Minneapolis PD are far from the only parties dealing with this.

I get what you're saying with mistrial fears, I just don't believe a mistrial is any more or less likely whether he were arrested the same day or not.

Journalist: "Whats the rules for tonight, then?"
Walz: "That's what we're working on, we'll get back to you"

Rule 1: be safe

Rule 2: make sure to yell FIRE IN THE HOLE before lighting any building on fire

Rule 3: keep thrown rocks to under 1" diameter

Rule 4: if you see a national guardsmen you're excused from the typical "thank you for your service" greeting

Rule 5: maybe consider "f 12" instead of "fuck 12" in case kids are watching the livestream

businessman saved up a lot of money by working hard and sacrificing to buy a sports bar. which was burned and looted by “innocent protesters in masks”

some argue this is a form of justice for the tragedy and killing that happened -_-

He said he was going to let them "do it again tonight"??

If I was a business owner there I would be pissed.

pretty much, yes.
He completely dodged attempts by journalists to ask him what his response would be or what the rules would be tonight
He did nothing but say it wasn't his responsibility the last two nights and that he'd figure out 'later' what he'd do about tonight
its already almost noon and looting is still ongoing.

So if we read between the lines what do we get:

1- They don't want to quell the riots. The more damage is done, the more political capital they gain in terms of bringing down a harsher response once the smoke clears. Moving forward, they can use this as an excuse for the police to wield even more power.

OR

2- The govt is just completely incompetent bumbling idiots who can't do the job.

Whichever explanation you want to go with, our response is the same: These people should be removed from positions of power.
