u keep saying you're forced to take a shot that you have an open choice not to take, while also zooming between calculations of the individual and population without pausing.

let's simplify, i'm going to make a statement on your behalf and u correct where i have you wrong:

"the government, who is democratically elected by the population, and who's basic function is to manage the wellbeing of the population and commerce among the population, cannot make it harder for me as an individual to participate in commerce, unless they can prove with science that the vaccine designed to prevent population wide spread of a disease not only reduces my individual chance to spread the disease if i get a breakthrough infection, but also has zero long term side effects"

Your statement should properly read, "The government, who is democratically elected by the population, and who's basic function is to serve the defense of the population and insure free exercise of commerce, shall not block any citizen from commerce unless there is a health crisis so dangerous that the impacted individuals need to be actively quarantined. Further, that government shall not violate the bodily autonomy of the citizens it serves without concrete evidence that the medication it is using is safe, effective, long lasting, and will cause no notable long term side effects."

Not only has every lockdown violated one of the government's primary functions, that of insuring the free exercise of commerce, but now they're pursuing means by which they can violate bodily autonomy. All over a cold with an infinitesimally low death rate among the working aged and healthy. And why? Well, dunno! Vaccines are available. If people want them, go get them. If you don't want them, or you've already had covid, don't get them. You own your own body. Not the government. :)

have you done the math of without the vax

Snipping the irrelevant nonsense that's already been addressed. As to the math, I'm asking you to do the math. The CDC and WHO have said asymptomatic spread occurs. The CDC and WHO have said the vaccinated are carriers and spreaders of the virus even though they themselves may not get sick. Thus the question, for the 20th time, "How have the vaccines limited the spread?" So, take your own advice, gather the data, and DO the math of vax vs non vax, and show us your work. :)

Alot of available covid vaccines are not mRna

Yes, and the methodology for the non-mRNA vaccines say that if you've had covid, you do not need the vaccine. You will gain no benefit whatsoever. AKA taking it is pointless. So, why should a person who's had covid need to take, for instance, the J&J vaccine? Natural immunity, according to the science, is many times MORE effective than vaccine immunity.

Stop being a science denier and exercise some critical thought, once again.

6 to 13 times

he's not denying science though. you can't approve or deny something you know nothing about.
he laughed at the guy cos guy said "i was covid positive and had no symptoms". he doesn't think it's possible. he also still doesn't think it's possible to be covid positive WITH the vaccine. despite all the hospitalized vaccinated people, that's what he denies.
just a fat afraid beta comforting himself tbh

You can't know if you have covid if you dont have any symptom, a kid could understand, seems it's not even your case.
A test has been done and it's positive so it's ok. Stop your harassment and personal attacks. Go get your Darwin prize elsewhere.

You can't accept that vaccines are reducing symptoms of a disease. How could you even use the word "science" ?

The govts purpose from the onset of the constitution is to regulate, not simply insure free exercise, of commerce. u might dream it to be changed, but that's fact.

and u keep stating your bodily autonomy is at risk, for a vaccine you're free not to get. based on restrictions of commerce u can only call a constant by painting the picture of a unicorn with no other choices who i assume u dont match.

i find both your idea that the govt's purpose is to ensure a free market alone, and your inability to admit that a lowered chance to get a virus directly reflects on your chance to spread a virus to be frankly odd.

Man oh man.

1. So now, covid tests aren't real? You can't take a PCR or blood test and determine if you have covid? When did this occur? Why did we dedicate so many billions into testing people if the tests don't work?

2. If a person has already had and recovered from Covid, they now have natural immunity. Their bodies can naturally produce the needed antibodies any time they face the same (or a similar) virus. The J&J vaccine, as well as similar vaccines, utilize a weakened/dead strain of covid OR a strain that is similar to covid in an attempt to gain the same impact catching covid already has, thus providing you a level of natural immunity. Thus, if you already HAVE natural immunity, because you've CAUGHT COVID, then the non-mRNA vaccines do NOTHING for you. Is that so difficult to understand?

I think I agree with Sly, you aren't a science denier, you're simply ignorant of the science.

1. False. The government's purpose from the onset (if speaking Federal Government) was not to regulate. That's a State's Rights issue. Their purpose was to insure the freedom of Interstate Commerce. AKA preventing states boycotting or blockading other states.

2. If you are prevented from conducting commerce then you are preventing from conducting commerce. There's no unicorn here. If you cannot work, if you cannot purchase, if you cannot sell, without having foreign matter injected into your body, that is a violation of your bodily autonomy. AKA Rape. :)

3. Sly's point regarding Sauci was apt, and I'm glad you agree with him. Sauci is ignorant. You, on the other hand, are an active science denier. :)

Haven't there been studies that indicate natural immunity is more effective than the vaccines but they also say that getting the vaccine after being infected is the most effective? I don't think it's definitive yet, but the results are promising.

As for your interpretation of government responsibilities, I suggest reading the Federalist Papers to clear up any confusion. However, that will only get you so far because responsibilities and the law has changed over time.

All the studies I've seen that indicate that vaccines can help are in regards to "breakthrough cases", those being cases where a person with natural immunity contracts covid a second time. In those breakthrough cases, there's no difference whatsoever if the person took the J&J or other non-mRNA vaccines. The possible difference in those cases was when they took the mRNA vaccines, and the primary difference was that the symptoms may have been less than they would otherwise be. And you're correct that that's not definitive. Just as with the flu, getting a coronavirus (of any type) may not prevent you from getting it again, or getting a variant of it. Having gotten it the first time and being able to more quickly generate the antibodies for it tends to reduce the symptoms already. It's a good question though, and I've been following what studies do come out. We'll have to hurry up and wait for more definitive information.

I have read the Constitution in it's original form, as well as the Federalist papers. The words "from the onset" were used, and based on that description, my response was accurate. The fact that portions of the Constitution have been re-written, the Executive Branch has usurped powers of the Legislature, and any number of other "recent issues" have changed the roll of the federal government does not alter that.

You haven’t addressed shit from the original point except you love to slightly deflect every debate to fantasy level details. You always fall that way when you have no point to make please do it again so I can laugh.
Example. Studies show people with lower heart rate survive better. Blah blah blah for a paragraph

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution:

Quote
To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;

It is as clear as it's application has been historically controversial. but clear none the less.

States likewise have clauses to regulate intrastate commerce in various ways. as do cities. vaccine mandates, disagree with them as i do, appear legal in this context.

my point was NOT that the constitution for the federal govt gives city mayors the power to do this. but in a historical view states wrote constitutions that were ratified in line with the US constitution, and cities likewise did the same. the root is there for this action. as with many shitty things it's legal.

as to science denial im not sure what ur referring to. u said "we dont know" in regards to the science of vaccines affecting your ability or lack thereof to spread covid through a breakthrough infection, to which i agreed. you said we dont know the long term effect of mrna vaccines, to which i agreed. i pointed out in a population context by which vaccines are designed we can say a lower chance to be infected results in a lower chance for spread in said population, a point which i didnt see u acknowledge let alone agree or disagree with. as i stated, you're laser focused only on yourself, while making claims about what i deny that u cant back up. and acting in a way that u dont have science to back up, while lambasting others who are vaxxed for doing the same. bit odd all around really. the unknown never makes a good crutch, especially for those not exercising caution in that unknown.
