I doubt it. Thats a waste of money and time.

Instead make it a capital offense to oppose the regime in any way punishable by forced slave labor camps(coal/fish/wood industries) with the third gen rule applied.

Free labor force and total control with fear for self and family = profit.

Puting a tv in every home, building propganda stations and news presses and staffing / maintaining them costs heaps.

If they didn't have tv's they wouldn't be able to watch un's propaganda channel. I'm sure that's the only thing they have access to though.

The bad thing is people in the US can watch anything and they still tune into fox news. Of course they have more options now that trump has taken a page out of un's book and created his own supreme leader news network.

They can't even access most parts of the internet over there. They restrict PayPal and almost any other site they could to purchase or receive payments through

Here's another possible reason why NK seems to be committing suicide.
It could all be a smoke screen to keep the US busy, and NOT spending so much time watching the Middle East.
We DO have serious amounts of muslims... "immigrating" all over the place.

We know there are North Koreans in Syria, as well as Russians.

I have no idea if this is what's going on, but I just can't seem to get my head around NK's recent actions.
Yes, Kim Jong could just really be that crazy, but I don't think he could possibly be that stupid and still hold on to North Korea.

As I posted before, it could also have to do with China. They've been getting rather antsy, lately.

Im not sure a country can attack another with total nuclear power just because of bad talks or weapons testing, this is ridiculous and it never happened in the past. Plus seems NK already got a dissuasive power with its 15-60 nuclear ICBMs.

The US won't dump all it's nukes on NK. The US can wipe out the NK with conventional weapons.
NK has ONE mini nuke, so far.

NK is tiny, land wise.

On top of all that, as usual, your numbers are way out of whack.

On it's current path, NK is gonna get wiped out, if it comes down to war.

Something else, has top be going on.

Other things that may somehow have a bearing on NK actions.

China wants to control ALL of the South China Sea. Many trillions of dollars worth of trade pass through there..
NK has soldiers (quite a few) in Syria.

While all this is going on...

China and India are arguing about some tiny piece of land.

It seems to me that NK may just be someone's pawn, to keep the US busy, while something else is happening. Something we are not paying attention to, because of NK.

I still don't understand North Korea's plan on going forward.

Pyongyang is 25-30 miles from the coast...the Navy can sit there and shell them into the stone age.
Aus, England, India etc., are all sending Aircraft carriers.

What does Kim Jong plan? He supposedly now, has one mini nuke. What will he do with it? And how will it make a difference.
The US can assure China and Russia that we don't want NK, that we'll just leave it a slag pile for NK to try and grow rocks.

None of this makes any kind of sense.

Become a legit nuclear power with a nuclear-armed ICMB that can hit the continental U.S., which will prevent the Americans from ever blowing him into little pieces. From there, not sure.

Bombing North Korea would start a war that could potentially result in the deaths of millions, and it's not like we'd just let all the citizens in North Korea starve in the aftermath. That would destroy American credibility as a force for good in the world.
