I still don't understand North Korea's plan on going forward.

Pyongyang is 25-30 miles from the coast...the Navy can sit there and shell them into the stone age.
Aus, England, India etc., are all sending Aircraft carriers.

What does Kim Jong plan? He supposedly now, has one mini nuke. What will he do with it? And how will it make a difference.
The US can assure China and Russia that we don't want NK, that we'll just leave it a slag pile for NK to try and grow rocks.

None of this makes any kind of sense.

He's not a competent leader. That's why it doesn't make sense imo.

Yeah, but with a 1.2 million man army, you'd think that someone would have snuffed him before now.

- Usa need NK as a political excuse to be present in the area and eventually keeping a pressure on China, the proxy is SK.

NK side
- NK need USA "threat" as a reason for its own existence, btw China enjoyed this proxy country for a while

Theres no plan, Kim want to make his country a complete nuclear power, and at some point it will not be possible to stop him at all. The ultimate step is probably owning long range submarines with SBLM & true hydrogen bomb, meaning even if NK is atomized by 100% they will still be able to strike, also meaning there will be more missiles & nuclear tests in the next months.

Also add those parameters;
- China do not want usa proxy country at its borders (SK)
- China could be happy to grab the dirt (10 trillions NK natural ressources), in case of a complete mess

Kim will probably go crazy and start to troll the whole world, insulting USA all the time, asking the removal of bases and ships etc... Usa may only be able to reply with TV show comedies about Kim, making him so mad he will push the button, ignoring everything, his people, his own life...
Thats the risk actually, theres few chances, but at this level such kind of risk is unacceptable.
