As soon as Floyd is loaded into the ambulance and is hidden from the camera, the paramedics (who are in on the trick) pull around the block. This is where the switch is made. The body they were looking to dump is switched into the ambulance, the real Floyd sneaks to the getaway car, where he and Hall zoom to Texas. This explains why the medical examiner didn't see any signs of trauma to the throat: the corpse he was examining was not the same one that Chauvin knelt on.

After Chauvin is convicted, Floyd's will assume his new identity (Lord Caldlow) and send a solicitor to offer to buy the methods for Chauvin's tricks.
