This topic is being used not only to express opinions regarding the events in Minneapolis, but to provide news and information regarding both the Floyd case and the looting, rioting, and peaceable protesting alike.

presence of guns =/= not peaceful. Armed occupation with no shots fired is peaceful, that doesnt mean its good or justified.

Of course. There are valid peaceful protests going on over the Floyd murder right now and nobody's criticizing them. Color isn't the issue. Crime is the issue.

when black people are getting detained doing basic, everyday activities, you are going to tell me that a group of them storming a capital building will be met with the same level of inaction as did the lockdown protestors who were predominately white?

people everywhere everyday are being detained for everyday activities and there are plenty of peaceful protesters right now from all backgrounds demanding justice for the victim here. the issue is abuse of power by cops but you get sidetracked every topic using inflammatory language based on race and skin color
