Yeah, people like feeling warm inside so they can sleep at night thinking THAAD will protect us. It really won't. We have THAAD, Patriot PAC-3, etc. To me, this is the armor vs weapon argument. Weapons typically advance much quicker than defense and are a step ahead.

I just don't have faith that THAAD would be able to stop a multiple ICBM attack. I think it's irrational to believe that we'll just flood the sky with missiles, stopping all ICBMs in the pacific ocean.

Most experts I hear on television say we can't effectively shoot down ICBM's.

We don't need to, We can take a hit, lose some people, then obliterate their entire country with a single sub.
