I'm trying to interpret what this means.

Are you saying he respects women so he stays away from them because he knows he is a rapist shitlord and can't keep his filthy fucking rapist hands off, or are you saying that even though he considers women to be godless temptresses sent to corrupt males and lead us on a path to eternal damnation he is, in fact, respecting them by not allowing them to even speak in his presence without himself being accompanied by a chaperone?

Taking women to dinner? That's really the best you could come up with? We're talking about a guy who, as a senator, wouldn't even sit in a room with another senator if that person were female. Who gives a fuck about who chooses what person to go to dinner? We're not talking about Mike Pence's assumably weird sex life, here. We're talking about a culture that holds women in lower regard than men and legitimizes the Republican worldview that all men are serial rapists who can't keep their disgusting fucking hands off women.
