If we have to shut down schools and destroy the lives of an entire generation of children, isn't that worse than 80 year olds dying 6 years early? How many young suicides happened last year?

I think we both want what is best for society, but I don't think you are fully aware of the negative impacts of the policies you are promoting.

I dont care about sob stories. I care about numbers.

Case numbers are not a reliable measure because PCR tests have no centralized standard for sensitivity or threshold cycles. Death numbers and serious case results are much more useful for this kind of analysis, especially now that 100% of the susceptible individuals have been vaccinated.
