It might sound harsh, but if I stopped caring about dumb people I'd have to stop caring about most of my family. My mom voted Trump, my uncles all voted Trump except maybe one, my aunts on my dads side all voted Trump, and they're all on the fence about if Covid is real. My mom only got the vaccine because her job required it. My dad is the only family member I have who knows how to differentiate bullshit from legitimate sources.

The Polio vaccine was introduced in 53 and was massively successful, so most boomers grew up in a mostly polio-free world.

yea I suppose but damn it's not like vaccines are some "new thing" I have some older family member that remember hiding kids in bedrooms, as polio was the opposite in the fact the it targeted children so heavily.
Is it then the Bill Gates tracking devices?
I really have a hard time figuring out the motivation/fears of these clowns.

The nursing demographic is ... a special one. 2-4 year degree with amazing job security and earning potential, many go into it for the wrong reasons.

Like Thor said some are absolutely amazing and could have been doctors if they wanted, and some you question if they should be taking care of human lives

I have an aunt and cousin who believe QAnon, a grandmother and grandfather who won't take the vaccine. I can relate.
