it just means when anyone spouts rubbish they are called out for it. no different from what has already been done.

England:

For days after the Moskva cruiser sank in the Black Sea, Yulia Tsyvova had been desperately searching for information about her son Andrei. Like hundreds of other Russian families of the crew members, she had not been told whether he had survived the reported Ukrainian missile attack that had sunk the Russian flagship of the Black Sea fleet. Then on Monday morning she received a call from the Russian defence ministry. Her son was dead. “He was only 19, he was a conscript,” said Tsyvova, who wept as she spoke by telephone. “They didn’t tell me anything else, no information on when the funeral would be. “I am sure he isn’t the only one who died.” Family members of sailors who served onboard the Moskva are demanding answers as the ministry has sought to suppress information about what happened to the ship or its estimated 510-strong crew. The total number of dead, wounded and missing remains a state secret.

India:

The Kremlin refused Tuesday to reveal any details about casualties suffered from the sinking of Russia's guided-missile cruiser Moskva, as parents called for the truth about their missing children. The flagship of Russia's Black Sea Fleet sank last week after an explosion and fire that Ukraine said was caused by a successful missile strike and Russia said was the result of exploding munitions. Russian authorities said the crew had been evacuated from the warship -- which is able to carry up to 680 sailors -- but gave no other details.

Reuters:

April 15 (Reuters) - Dozens of people gathered in the Crimean city of Sevastopol on Friday to mourn the sinking of the flagship of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, a symbol, the crowd heard, of hope, revival and power until its demise. Some embraced and others laid flowers in memory of the Moskva missile cruiser at a monument to the 1696 foundation of the Russian navy in the centre of Sevastopol, headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. Moscow, which annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, said the ship sank while being towed in stormy seas after a fire caused by an ammunition explosion. Ukraine said one of its missiles had caused it to sink. Reuters was unable to verify the exact circumstances of the ship's demise.

I am pretty sure it was sunk by two Neptunes.
Ukraine Army itself do not have the ability to pinpoint the exact location of the Moskva.
Intelligence report was provided by the Americans and in most recent news report from Taiwan, it was Elon Musk who gave the exact GPS location of the Moskva which allow the Neptunes to strike with such accuracy.
The Taiwan media have indicated, why other Russian ships surrounding or is near the Moskva was not downed but the Flagship was specifically taken out.
I also heard News that Putin is now directly targeting Musk and his satellites.

So technically speaking, the American Government is "not involved" . Musk is.

Ukraine asks G7 nations for 50 billion (this is outside of already billions in aid and weapons that have already been sent)

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/04/18/ukraine-50-billion-aid-package-00026032

Ukraine is going to be massive black hole for euro money in the coming years. There's also a good proportion of the population that will never go back even if the war stops, which means a much lower tax base.

I look across Europe, and there's only a handful of countries that can really burden helping others. It's going to be basically on Germany, to a lesser extent the Dutch, French, Belgians. Most of the southern EU countries have been going through or need to go through austerity, England bailed and most in the east are too poor to help.

Yeah this is a big shit sandwich. Generations of Russian children will be born owing reparations to Ukraine.

Some people blame Ukraine for existing. Some people blame Russia for acting like orcs and attacking their neighbors unprovoked.

It is ironic that the people who resent Ukraine for existing are the same people who defend the fuck out of Israel existing. True irony is rare but real lol.

I've pointed out in the past how badly Southern EU countries performed, how much money was needed to rescue Greece and prop up other Southern EU countries plus considering emergency ECB packages to prop up failing banks plus quantitative easing program for years and years.

EU wants to expand East but countries like Albania / Ukraine are in a completely different league when it comes to corruption and poverty, shitty infrastructure etc. If countries like Greece can't meet EU standards just forget about countries like Albania or Ukraine.

Russia paying reparations is fantasy that will never happen.

Some version of Ukraine will exist, but it will be much poorer and need life support for many years. The problem with what's happening now is because of rampant inflation easy money monetary policy is impossible, so there is no 'cheap' money to be printed to endlessly support Ukraine. You have protests across Europe, and the rest of the world because of parabolic food and energy prices. You have this in the bond market. tldr: No easy solution from an economics angle, it's going to be very costly to all around.

The Bloomberg Global Aggregate Index, a benchmark for government and corporate debt total returns, has fallen 11% from a high in January 2021. That’s the biggest decline from a peak in data stretching back to 1990, surpassing a 10.8% drawdown during the financial crisis in 2008. It equates to a drop in the index market value of about $2.6 trillion, worse than about $2 trillion in 2008.

That's fine, they can keep the embargo.

I wouldn't be surprised if Russia attempts to assassinate Musk for putting Starlink over Ukraine.

From what I watch from Taiwanese News and Hong Kong News media.
The escalation and the continuation of the current Ukraine conflict have potentially open up two more hot spots.

The Taiwan China Hot spot , potential is there but less likely to happen.

The second Hot spot in Europe. This has huge potential and is looming very eerily.
Serbia and Kosovo.

Let me know your inputs if you have any.
