No one can afford that, any mistake can get reported on social media and buzz in 24 hours.

So vacc is mandatory to come in, even if the virus is not a super killer (yet covid is still pretty much on the red line).
It's pure logic, for any executive (even CEO) this is the only solution.

I don't think that's the criteria. It's that we have schadenfreude for people who were very vocal about the thing that killed them. Just a lot of anti-vax southern pastors.

And the fact that there is no age range requirement attached is pretty stupid too.

At that point it is very likely a pharmaceutical company marketing tactic.

It's true that 4.5m or so have died with or had covid in the previous 30 days of their death. It's true that it's mostly killing people with comorbidities and the average age of death is around the life expectancy. It's also true that tobacco take out about 8 millions people yearly and is totally legal. Tobacco isn't a virus but the fact that it kills more people than covid is questionable. It's buyable and consumable everywhere. In my opinion these are good metrics. If the goal is saving lives then they are something wrong with the response to this crisis. If there wasn't so much wealth transfer to be made from this you would be able to get a RX for ivermectin and other cheap drugs anywhere in the world. In fact it's very, very hard and controversial even if India seems to have killed the latest wave with this drug.
