Well this is from may, so i guess we have a million deaths now.
No precise idea how it is underrated globally, but when i see Russia or India, pretty sure we are at 10-15 millions

Cases and deaths are underreported like crazy in India. Large parts of rural India don't even have the infrastructure to carry out consistent testing or register all the deaths they had during their spring wave. Some experts estimate that India actually had as many as 12 million cases per day at the height of that wave which peaked at just 400k official cases. So the dark figure could be has high as a factor of 30. I dont think the factor is as high for deaths, but they definitely had a lot more than the 433k confirmed covid deaths. They easily had 2m or more deaths if you ask me.

Yes, I think so too. India is so incredibly crowded and couldn't afford to sustain lockdowns for more than 2-3 weeks before people start starving, so they probably took the hard way to herd immunity (or rather: to an 'endemic equilibrium') back in April/May when the Delta-variant swept across the country.
