You've proven nothing. Just because their ballistic missile can fly at higher altitudes does not mean we can't neutralize the ICBM. For example, every thing that ascends has to descend to hit its target, even if the THAAD can't snipe it at a very high altitude =/= it can't do so when it's on its way down.

Secondly, the majority of their tests fail, and that's on short trajectories*. If you're telling me some 3rd rate ICBM program that's essentially in it's experimental stage and eons behind what we use or the Russians is going to travel to mainland North America without us knowing its trajectory and hitting its intended target then you really are disconnected from reality.

We've been actively trying to counter state of the art rocket technology that Russia is producing and you're telling these plebs will get nukes to our shores...laugh.

It doesn't matter what altitudes can be achieved by THAAD vs. a nuke.
ICBM's are slow as dirt. THAAD is very very fast. A parabolic trajectory is just a math equation. Does the term interception mean anything to you?

/ee Hell, even if THAAD missed, it wouldn't matter. The ships we have over there have laser cannons, that can hit a missile anywhere...at the speed of light no less.
That doesn't even include things like the DEW line.

It's going wild when i see people here talking about "lasers"... Completely ignoring the limited range of such weapons, weather or simply air resistance are a MAJOR issue.
Before posting try to act like an adult and inform yourself about the range or at least theorical range of such solutions to spare us a big embarrassment.

Make a birthday cake if you can reach more than 50 km range with your laser, even if it's a 1000kw one.

No way to intercept ICBM exploding at 400 km altitude, you have to live with it guys.
