Floyd already had little birds circling his head ironically. Dude was high as a kite but from all the evidence wasn’t threatening at all. Thats what makes this whole ordeal so infuriating . If they had to force some violent raging guy to the ground okay fine. clearly this wasn’t the case.

what i read was his buddy there (who claimed he would be “Floyd’s voice” but is now going to plea the 5th to everything) tried to buy stuff with the fake note and it failed so he gave it to Floyd.

No. He knew it was fake after the clerk came out to his car twice to tell him it was a fake and that he needed to give the cigs back or pay with real cash. He gave him 2 chances before he called the cops.

The whole ordeal starts with Floyd choosing to be a fucking piece of shit. Good riddance IMO.

My assumption is that given the other officers are up on their own charges, their council would advise them not to provide testimony in a related case that could later be used against them in their own cases.

Perjury traps alone make such an action highly undesirable. I was more interested in the fact that a legal request to dismiss charges had been made using that transcript, so if that's to be considered damning evidence, then they should get on to getting on to reviewing the shoulder cam footage.
