As for the numbers they throw out, I would take those with a grain of salt, sure.

The rest of the information though is useful, such as the fact that Mariupol is basically 100% cleared (except Azovstal) and furthermore the areas they are softening up right now are likely to be the next targets for a ground operation.

20k is like 5x more than the actual soldiers that died there. A few thousand maybe, but 20k? Come on man, get real.

Might be even more, you don't have to actively kill civilians. Without hospitals, food, a clean water source etc. most people die in the aftermaths of a war. A single infected flesh wound can kill weakened people. I'm sure a large part of the population is starving there now. Going to the fridge to get something to eat is out of question, don't think Russia can provide enough.

Believable number, from tactical standpoint, a side without aerial superiority can't have more losses than one without. Russia also lost around 20000 troops so I think the number provided by Russia is a conservative estimate, probably much more dead on Ukrainian side.
