It all makes sense now.

It was a lot of fucking top shelf whiskey.

Are you trying to impress me with your inability to hold your liquor?

Please, tell me more.

Our entire office is booked in as is many others in town. My wifes office is as well. There's no allocating per age or any other type of allocation just first come first serve appointment wise. What a system. Oh well.

My friends have a whisky subscription and each month it rotates from Canadian to international. They always ask if I'd like a glass and I'm determined to grow a dick and like hard liquor on ice or the rocks so I always try.

They always read the box and and go back and forth with the flavours they taste in each sip. I on the other hand end up shooting it almost everytime after about two sips and conclude it tastes bad.

Well see how my brew kit turns out next week. I just have to accept it's beer for life. I just happen to live in a place where beer costs a small fortune due to shipping so 24 kokanee or other shit beer still costs 135 bucks.

I was at my bro's wedding in Charlottesville as an all-week thing and the in-law's family was fairly rich.

I also managed to still perform Chopin at his wedding the next day.

I've only had one occasion where I actually enjoyed a wisky, and it was with an $80 steak. Paired with something like that the bitter in the steak lowers the bitter in the wisky and lets you taste it, and same the other way around so you just get a better steak taste.

yep. kirkland brand french vodka is grey goose without the upcharge. titos is still solid for the price but the kirkland american vodka is an okay alternative to it.

i rarely drink vodka anymore (and when i do its usually kettle one served ice cold with nothing else) but i used to love costco for it when i was younger. got so much bang for your buck. i would test people out pouring kirkland french vodka into an empty goose bottle and never heard a peep  $24 or so for a 1.75L of excellent booze when youre 21-22 years old is unrivaled value
