Article ignores a lot of political realities but nb. The timeline moves toward liberalization. What was liberal twenty years ago when they talk about young Joe is centrist now. The wings of the parties are out there much further than Joe Biden. He has even been Blue Dogish on some things for a long time.

The article is based on rankings made of these people by their enemies. Those percentages by conservative thinktanks are laughable.

Plus he is an old Christian white guy from the burbs.
