The thing with investigations in Ukraine is not as complicated as it seems. Corruption in the country isnt wild and unpredictable, it largely goes along certain lines. Before the euromaidan, the country's economy and riches were divided among a clique of pro-russian oligarchs. After euromaidan, these pro-russian oligarchs were replaced by equally corrupt pro-western oligarchs, headed by then president Petro Poroshenko. And since the election of Zelensky, he is trying to push back these corrupt "2nd wave" oligarchs as well. If he has genuinely good intentions or just wants to replace them by yet another round of oligarchs under his control remains to be seen. But there is little doubt that he has no loyalty to or sympathy for the corrupt people from the 2014-2018 years.

They are literally spending their time asking how Yovanovitch and her family are feeling instead of asking questions related to "whatever it is" they are trying to "prove" at this point.

It's all I see the Democrats doing. They are trying to make the American people feel sad for Marie Yovanovitch....which I have no idea as to what this has to do with finding out if Trump is guilty or not....

I never knew feelings mattered so much.....I really am confused by all this.
