I should highlight this.
I've had covid twice now, Mostly due to work.
I - A healthy person, Has had covid and have natural immunity.
I do not need a vaccine in any way shape or form.
Now tell me why i should be vaccinated.
If you say to slow the spread, Show me proof that the vaccine has slowed the spread of this virus and i will concede, 75% of america is full vaccinated and covid is only getting WORSE.

More exposures = better protection. Vaccination increases your exposures with much lower risk, so you get even better protection at a risk that's lower than infection even after multiple exposures.

So for your own sake, it's worth it to get vaccinated.

If you truly work from home 100% of the time, then under Biden's mandate you would be exempt.

His minds gonna be blown when he realizes MIT has a Covid booster mandate for students/employees.

That's fine, I never said i wouldn't get the vaccine.

I just at this time have no need for it.

If my hand is forced to get it to go to a place that i NEED to be at for my greater good, Then yes i will get vaccinated.

I dont think at this point in time a vaccine will help me as it stands.

I get it, trust me i do.

But could you tell me why we are still pushing this vaccine when 75% of america is vaccinated and everyone who is at risk is more than likely vaccinated and boostered.

It's time to stop the nonsense.

Because, like I said, our healthcare system is still massively overwhelmed by Omicron and the best way to stop that now and in the future is with vaccinations and boosters.

It's really that simple. Vaccination is insanely low risk high reward and as a result should be encouraged for basically every group.

Yous ay you get it, but then keep saying things that show you really don't get it. This isn't that hard, and if you want to get into MIT you should really try to work on your critical thinking skills. They'll be looking for that in your interview.

Redirecting organs from the unvaccinated is 100% ethical and required to be a good steward of the transplanted organs.

Organs are limited in supply and a gift from the donor, so they must be treated with the utmost respect. If somebody is going to risk their life by ignoring clear health guidelines it shows a disrespect for medical evidence and signals they won't be good stewards down the line.

If you don't trust medical evidence enough to get vaccinated, an insanely low risk high benefit procedure, then you can't be trusted to undergo a high risk procedure that takes the gift of an organ from somebody who does respect the evidence.

This is pretty much the only explanation needed here.

You aren't vaccinated and you have had it twice already. You can do something to prevent it, lessen your chances of severe infection and hospitalization, and it's relatively risk free and free. If you get it again you will miss work, income, and resist death and disability. You got it twice so what you are saying (I have strong natural immunity) is contradicted by things that have happened (I've gotten covid twice and will get it again and give it to people less able to mitigate the risk without much thought).

My simple argument for why you should get vaccinated. I'm meeting a lot of dumb people who can't breath at the hospital because they don't believe in preventative medicine all the sudden because a reality TV star's influence.
