A bunch of "it's time for a woman" that's great and all other than Warren is not a good national candidate and it's already been shown trump has her number.

Hopefully they dont get nasty with each other but people are way off with that it's time for a woman way of thinking with Warren just like they were with Clinton. You can pull off that bullshit with someone like Harris but it wont work with Warren.

just because you fall into the trap of believing that trump's constant 'pocahontas' jabs outweigh her political record, doesn't necessarily mean that has to be true for voters.
i was told people voted for trump DESPITE his lack of class, competence, and intelligence - because he promised change in washington, putting an end to the rampant corruption, and fighting for the average american.
well, warren actually has a record to back that up. she's one of two people you could at least justifiably believe they will do that - and not just promise it and then do the exact opposite like trump.

don't get me wrong, i think bernie is the better and more promising candidate, but dismissing warren altogether just based on trump's childish namecalling seems a bit unreasonable and premature.
that being said, i still expect the dems to be stupid / corrupt enough to land on a solid corporate ticket. most likely with harris or biden as candidate...

If warren wins the nom (very unlikely) Trumps defeats her and Warren does worse than clinton in popular and possibly the college

Identity politics does work politically but old white woman that released a dna test showing how white she is and steps in every single trap trump sets won't be able to win on it. She's not great on the stump for national politics, she stumbles too much

this is not a personal judgment of her politics only her public political persona which isn't strong enough to pull off an identity politics win

I believe she's always been weak nationally but that DNA test release is the howard dean scream of her political career

Are you really that elementary of mind that you base your reasoning on an obscure internet poll?

Sanders' appeal to those on the far-left has more often than not been about his views on economics, and not his social/identity views. He's doesn't stand out as a candidate on identity issues.
