Some things cant be proven either. Well never know for sure what is inside a black hole by measurement

Proof only exists in philosophy and mathematics (which it itself an extension of philosophy).

Everything applied to the real world is an approximation.



But if we came up with a theory that agrees with every result we've ever taken, and it says X about a black hole, we can be pretty confident that X is accurate without actually measuring it.
