The last prisoner/body exchange has kind of been clouded in mystery. First Ukraine didn't show up at the agreed time and it sounded like it make not happen at all, then the next day some swaps occurred but nobody published numbers
Today we're finding out Ukraine had just... 27 bodies of Russians to exchange. While Russia offered to repatriate 6000 bodies of Ukrainians, and have apparently already turned over 1212 of them.
Its unclear how many POWs were traded on either side, but apparently some have already been released. Again, either not being reported or being purposefully obfuscated
but seems like the only clear number today is that Ukraine traded 27 bodies of Russians for 1212 bodies of Ukrainians.
do you have any information off hand to the historic numbers, how many times was this done before. it all seems so strange.
