"Ukrainska Pravada is confused. Why did Vladimir Putin not mention Ukraine's big operation of which they are so much proud? Well, i think the reason is obvious, isn't it? I mean Donald Trump hinted at it. That operation will receive a different kind of response, one that will not involve words and it will probably be very ugly."

As some of you know, I will sometimes make bold claims. so, my best guess is Russia is going to flatten an airbase and or flatten Ukraine's General Staff HQ in Kyiv. They will do 1 step short of total war.

The strongest response would be a counter drone attack. basically say "oh you got drones, we do too". but i dont know if Russian drones are on the same level and able to operate in the same type of attack.

i dont either, i think their drone tech isn't really there for it. they're more likely to just send in missiles.

The key difference is that Russia didn't anticipate attacks on military bases deep inside its own territory, thousands of miles away from the front line. That's why they slacked off in terms of security, which allowed Ukraine to pull off this surprise attack.

Ukraine's bases and airfields have been prime targets for Russian missiles and drones since the outbreak of this war, so their defense will not be as complacent.

Kyiv has disowned its 6,000 dead in Kursk, apparently realizing too late that it can no longer pay their families- and those absurdly low "30,000 losses" will suddenly jump by a quarter just since January 2025 (remember, 6,000 is for 2025 in Kursk alone; as for 2024, the losses "don’t exist" clearly, they were dumped like cattle in mass graves or burned).

Nice testing ground for North Koreans

Interesting fact: Ukrainians have already gotten beaten by the Buryats, Chechens, North Koreans, and other physically and mentally more capable ethnic groups, while the Russians haven't even entered the fight yet. Guys, drop your favorite photos of Stepan Bandera here. For the sake of "Потужно".

Russia cant buy the Ultra Nationalists of Ukraine, they are Ultra Nationalists, remember :p

I would assume they would get Arestovich to spin a version of “pan-slavism” or something to justify unification.

https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/07/europe/russia-ukraine-prisoner-swap-bodies-delay-intl

Russia attempted to exchange the bodies of the first 1200 of 6000 agreed upon in the last peace talks, but nobody showed up on Ukraine's side
Russia says they had agreed upon a date and time and place and Ukraine unilaterally postponed, and Russia had refrigerated trucks filled with Ukrainian KIAs sitting idle at the spot
Ukraine says the two sides had not agreed on a date for the swap of bodies only wounded troops. In the end, no exchange occurred:

Quote
“In strict accordance with the Istanbul agreements, the Russian side began a humanitarian operation to transfer more than 6,000 bodies of killed Ukrainian servicemen,” as well as badly wounded soldiers under the age of 25, Medinsky said Saturday afternoon on Telegram.
He claimed that 1,212 bodies of killed Ukrainian soldiers were at the exchange point, with the rest “on their way.” He also said that Russia gave Ukraine the first list of 640 prisoners of war for exchange, listed as “wounded, seriously ill and young people,” in order to start the swap.
In a video posted by Russia’s Defense Ministry on Telegram, two men wearing hazmat suits are seen opening the doors to the back of a truck parked on the side of a road. Inside the truck were dozens of sealed white bags, which the ministry said contained the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers.
Medinsky said Russia’s Defense Ministry contact group was waiting at the border with Ukraine, but alleged that Kyiv had “unexpectedly postponed the transfer of bodies and the exchange of prisoners of war for an indefinite period” and had given “pretty weird reasons” for doing so.
Ukraine swiftly rejected the accusations, saying Medinsky’s claims “do not correspond to reality.” It said the exchange of prisoners of war and soldiers’ bodies were separate processes.

Well I guess this is a step up from Ukraine shooting down a prisoner exchange flight filled with its own troops.
