Ukraine’s SBU says it has “for the first time in history” uncovered a Hungarian spy ring and arrested two members.
Hungary is formally Ukraine’s NATO and EU ally, so it’s a curious precedent.
I am always surprised that people are surprised by this.
I think all countries spy on each other, friend or foe. Unless they cannot afford it financially.
It’s more about what is politically convenient to reveal at a given point in time. As is in this case, since Hungary is not as blindly pro-Ukraine as many other European protectorates of globalists power.
Edit:
Let me rephrase this. All countries that strive to be independent. For example, I cannot imagine Poland spying on USA.
