I do think Bernie brings some good points against the for profit healthcare industry. Something does have to change if we want to have any chance at an affordable.

Both the Democrats and Republicans need to confront the fact how outrageously expensive our system is. The first step of healthcare reform imo should be to make prices more affordable instead of getting everyone insured.

I don't know what the answer is tbh. Margin caps on healthcare related companies maybe? I know they already promised not to raise prices on certain drugs by no more than 5%/year but maybe that's not enough? For old drugs, maybe price hikes should be inflation sticky instead of a flat 5%?

Generics after set time is all you need.

Sanders scamming his supporters again. He's speaking now in Vermont and said the following, "I can say with confidence that we will win the Democratic nomination."

the insurance industry could easily delay implementation in court until Bernie dies in office or loses his reelection bid. at this point, he's so old that they could basically sit him out.

just more logistics that Bernie bros cant be bothered to think their way through.

We have seen the lengths the dnc will go to, no chance he gets the nod.

'what are you talking about? the fact that klobuchar previously stated she wouldn't drop out of the race before super tuesday, before she has the results of her home state - the fact that buttigieg said just hours before withdrawing his candidacy that he wants to keep fighting, and then they both conveniently dropped out before super tuesday, and endorsed biden to effectively consolidate the centrist vote is PURE coincidence. has nothing to do with the honorable DNC.' - our resident dnc shills

reminds me of:

Just having an insurance industry as the primary provider of healthcare is a huge drain on the system and introduces a ton of inefficiency into the system. In many ways insurance companies are massive corporations that practice medicine without a license, since they often dictate the treatment path over the doctor's orders because they will only cover certain medications and procedures after other cheaper options have been tried.

Inefficiency is a feature built into insurance because it makes people drop claims.

You also have a middleman who is doing everything he can to deny care at all.

I googled government efficiency but I only got a picture of Rick Astley.

Just being realistic, bernie has the most integrity out of any american politician, which is why he will never become the nominee.
