To what point? Officers being assassinated over nothing? Or a point where random psychotic people charge at officers who've made no hostile movement with big knives?
Must be Michael Brown beating the shit out of a cop and trying to take his gun to murder him, and getting shot for his trouble. Or perhaps George Floyd utilizing counterfeit money, refusing a polite arrest, and overdosing on Fentanyl?
Certainly, there are real cases of police brutality. But nothing that's being held up is that. The media portrayal of excessive numbers of unarmed black people being shot by cops is pretty horrific. 9 in all of 2019, in a nation with 37 million black people? Total epidemic. Especially when you consider like 6 of those were actively attacking police and/or attempting to take their weapons at the time they were shot.
The specific incident I posted, the police were called in. They were asked for help, specifically. They made no move to harm this man. He responded to their very presence by attempting to murder an officer. Tell me, what else was the officer supposed to do?
If you believe in law and order, then it's probably time to stop speaking in favor of the murder and attempted murder of police by criminals. If you are not in favor of law and order, then just remember how well the lack of police worked in "CHAZ" or "CHOP".
