So you've been to the Intel fabs in Hillsboro, Fulsom, Chandler, etc.?
I'm interested in hearing more details about your time in the US observing US workers.
Like I said, I might not know the full picture which is good for me to understand what I know from people in forums like you for example who is in the field. I will tell you what I know.
I move money for clients in out to regional South East Asia and to North America.
When the plans started to move some of TSMC factories to USA, a lot of my clients started to invest and ask me to move money out for them.
I ask them , why not Taiwan and Japan. They give me very straight security answers and I ask them about US wages since it is high.
They just told me straight in my face the Taiwanese engineers moving over are willing to take lesser pay for a green card.
In long basis, it is a plus for them, low wages better company profit. Simple as that.
However hard working your US workers are going to be and how well they perform, work long hours etc etc I am really unsure but you can let me know on that.
But I think in a previous post you also stated that you left your industry because of a couple of reasons which is well founded as well.
So fill me in in regards of the conditions, wages and working environment of those working in Intel Fabs. It would be a great insight for me when I speak to my US boys this weekend again.
It is always good to know more.
